Make Armpit Fudge you can eat!
This Tuesday, July 22nd at 3:30pm
Children’s Room, Richards Free Library
Come to the library to make fudge in a plastic bag, and cook it with your own body heat!
Don’t worry–the fudge will stay in the baggies, and when we’re done, it will taste like fudge and not like armpits!
All ages welcome. Littler hands may want some help measuring, so children under five please bring parental assistance.
Today, Saturday July 19th!
Come build, come watch, come race, come cheer! Come to the library for the Great Science Derby of 2014!
Building starts at 11:00, and we’ll go outside to start racing our vehicles at 11:30.
All ages welcome, but parents, please remember that Legos are a choking hazard for children age 3 and younger.
The Newport Lions Club and the Newport Service Organization have made it possible for people with hearing difficulties to enjoy informational and cultural programs at the Richards Free Library and the Library Arts Center. Through the generosity of these two Newport organizations the library was able to purchase a Williams Sound Portable Infrared ADA Kit. The kit comes with two receivers and two sets of headphones for people with hearing difficulties.
We like numbers 1 & 2 of this list of 100 FREE THINGS to do with your kids this summer from digitalreflections.
